I don't know who you drive for..but if you drive for England (lease operator) don't tell me you bring home 800 to 1200.. with 3000 miles a week..you full of bs I still have their lease pay chart in my possesion. I drive for Roehl now b/w 2200-3000 a week still making 3 time more what England paid me and plus i get to go home almost every weekend to have a life.

A copy of the lease agreement should be in your permit book.

Company leasing = bad choice all the time nothing has changed. Perhaps a few case by case chances its a good thing. Still hate seeing people put ink to paper it makes no sense. If you wanna lease a truck fix your credit and do it the right way.

England has electronic logs. It would be impossible for any solo driver to run four thousand miles per week. Let alone average 4000 miles per week.

There are people at england making a great deal of money as lease operators. If you take on students or run teams the miles add up bringing down your fixed expenses. It takes a lot of miles though. If you can average 5000 miles per week minimum it begins to be pretty good money. Thats running teams or students to get the miles.

Never heard of a solo lease operator making much money. Usualy the ones i have met were in the hole trying to go solo. Then they would pick up a student to get out of the hole.

Although it could be good, the whole thing seems to be set up to get you to become a lease operator. And there are people making a great living being a lease operator training or running teams.

If your dm got you running east to west and west to east, doing long runs it is not that hard. The miles add up quick.

I'm with another company because I want to be a solo company driver and have some kind of home life. If you wish to go company, solo or able to get home some what often i would suggest not being with england.

If you want to lease your own truck, run teams or be a trainer, and not concerned about going home very often perhaps it could be good for you.

The pay is more like 76 cents a mile not 90. They take off a 14 cent variable. Im not sure what that means other than it brings 90 cent ppm down to 76 cents.

If you can average at least 7 mpg wich is not hard to do in a new Cascadia, you will do better on there rebate than there fuel cap. If i remember right 7 or 7.5 equals $1.05 per gallon. There fuel cap programs sets your fuel price at $ 1.25 per gallon unless you get something like less than 5.5 mpg. Then your back on the rebate.

You didn't sit in front of a computer before signing anything?
