Why? Have you ever run a business before? There are always risks to any adventure. Nice to know the bottom line stands around 24 cpm. Yet the pay off of if you own that truck at completion. What do you earn afterwards?

Something else to ponder. What is the price of a new rig? $100-120k? CR if you get it paid off is 70k. Your getting a rig at their price and they are taking a gamble on you as well. No company ever likes it to have a loan go bad. They are trying, just that some of us get a different deal out of it.

LOL I am not a rep, nor do I feel qualified as a rep for CR. Just pointing out the plusses that many dont try to remember and just say what a rotten deal it is.

Does anyone here want to debate me on this?

Thanks LTD, for challenging me on this subject. I'll be posting a new thread , maybe today, on the complexities of the CRE lease. So that as much light as possible can be focused on the issues.

You asked "Have you ever run a business before".(yes)

    you stated
"Nice to know the bottom line stands around 24 cpm"

I don't really understand this comment. Is it Nice? my opinion, no. beginning drivers at swift make 26c. they can go home and not suffer the consequences of a negative(in the hole) check.

you asked "Yet the pay off of if you own that truck at completion."

a distance 48 months in the future. maybe. at 451/wk for 208 weeks is $93808.

you stated "CR if you get it paid off is 70k"

do you have ANY evidence that this is valid? at all? where do you get the $70,000 figure?

you stated "Your getting a rig at their price and they are taking a gamble on you as well"

again, what evidence do you have i'm getting the rig at their price?

451/wk for 155 weeks is 70g's - CRE is going to hand you title on a LEASE after completion? does'nt make sense.

As a drive trainer, running 4500-5000mpw, gives them 500-700 dollars on top of the lease payment. not exactly a gamble.

you stated "Just pointing out the plusses "

I must have missed those, for lack of evidence.

you stated "LOL I am not a rep"

Man, i missed that also, what was funny?

i've posted on TTR about my 1st year earnings with central. If there is anyone at CRE that wants to lease and has experience, they should just go to Central. it's a way better, straight forward, walk away lease.

When you unplug the qualcomm it basicaly kills the power to it so NOTHING comes in so yes, buh bye onboard garbage. Just the normal... MPG, leg and trip miles hub etc etc. dowside, trailer tracs doesn't work so ya gotta watch for alarms thru the mirror (when the light on the side actually works):biggrin_2554:

I am 100% solo. I am a certified trainer however but I just can't get down with someone driving while I sleep.:biggrin_25512:

I have heard of issues with the head on em but have yet to have the problem. Yes, I have the detroit. 413k on her now and still runs like a top. Regualr maintnence really does pay off:biggrin_255:

    - how did it do? I'm curious about this. :biggrin_25511:I personaly ran a side buisness that was making 30k a year on the net and all I did was accepted money... bizzare how easy it was lol. :biggrin_25517:Fact is, anyone can say they ran a buisness. in the end all that matters is.... did it turn a profit? :biggrin_2552:Success is determined by the willingness to make it succeed. Not by crossingg your fingers:yes2557:
    - Yea and they are 90% of the time piss poor drivers and have no consideration for the people around them. The stories I could tell about swift drivers I have came across... Not all are bad, just the majority
    :biggrin_25526:
    - That isn't accurate. the buyout is kinda bs imo... it is between 33k-45k at lease completion (wich you can finance):yes2557:

    - lost by this, could you explain?:biggrin_2558:

    - Much as I am tempted to just come out and post a pay settlement, it ain't gonna happen, sorry. some things just ain't anyone's busness but mine:biggrin_25512:

    - could be the fact that anyone that says anything good is thougght to be one.... read like first 20 or so posts after I started the thread:biggrin_25520:

    - Central isn't any better, you know they were banned from England's Utah school because their recruters useta come over trying to steal england students?:biggrin_25510: I have a few central friends thou, they do alright but wouldn't say it's BETTER. :yes2557:also if you know what you are doing you can walk out of an england lease too. Also, if you can read England's lease is pretty up front (ever heard the saying "read before you sign?":biggrin_2554: oh, my gross earnings for 4th quarter was $43,336(that is b4 any deductions):biggrin_25511:

Please anyone reading the above mentioned gross earnings... don't assume you will see that. As I have said in previous posts. I make what I make because I have worked hard to get this far. it won't happen overnite so don't assume this will be you!!:dontknow:
Yea, I know.... not directed to me but hell, I love america and my right to my opinion even if others don't like what I have to say!! :biggrin_25525:lol

Taxes are for people that didn't read tax laws or have an accountant.... my sister is a CPA of 23 years. I have taxes taken out but with any good new buisness you can't be expected to turn a profit in the firsst 5 years;)

    A new Laptop - $1300

    A new LCD tv -$365

    A full tank of Fuel - $230

Claiming a loss for the first 5 years - PRICELESS

again, READ people, READ!! It's not breaking the law, it's working it in your favor!!!

Then the newer bulky green screen and the newer plazma touch screen. JUNK...lol. i liked the old 4 liner fits in the steering wheel perfectly :biggrin_25525:

Last I heard, CR England's lease program isn't a LEASE Purchase program.

    I could be wrong.
