I'm not gonna totally defend the company since I have some gripes myself, but I would say if our pay was a little better, we'd be doing pretty good with the amount of miles we've been running. Usually we average between 4k to 5700 miles a week. We decided to stay away from the lease program and go company. My only main gripes with them is the way they dog these trucks down so much that it really makes them a pain to drive. I hate the 9-speeds they believe in so religiously, disabled fifth-wheel slide and the lugging of their engines with that progressive shift ####. But, its their truck, they can do what they want with it. I guess thats the major advantage to bein a company driver. I hope to stay with them for a total of 2 years to gain pretty much the standard in minimum experience and maybe explore other opportunities.

MMMmmmm pay, I tend to believe if we all saw at least $400 take home per week (instead of -1600) we would all do a lot less griping and probably work harder than a zombie. But even that is asking too much.
