With no pause in the center...I might add!:biggrin_25512: But why pause when there is nothing but "dead air", almost a vacuum!:biggrin_25516:

I would have jumped off that truck as soon as I could have also. Screw it -since it's CR-Fleece. All they care about is your driving record and CR-Fleece laugh a million story.

My CR-Fleecer story: A CR-Fleecer parked into me (trailer end to trailer end) on a 95Deg day at a P-Lot. I say into me because I dam near fell off the top bunk and thought an explosion had occurred. Thankfully CRE trailers have 2 big rubbers back there or else there would have been damage. Didn't hit me square either and never said a thing to me. If I wasn't dam near full weight and braked in I may have went thru the windshield from the top bunk. -but it was a miserable hot day about 2 weeks ago in New Albany, MS (78) and I gave up getting to W.Memphis AR due to the heat and poor A/C.

i did not post on here to be tought proper grammer from a bunch of weekend teachers.
    is this better you ########.
this was merely to warn others not to make the same mmistakes i made.
ifi would have took the truck back too any yard i would have had a long walk and by the way the dam truck is still sitting there, they had another driver pick him up and take the driver/non trainee to dallas now its simple they have abandone the truck but what you people think you know it all.

beside theres a whole lot more to the story than that, and no i didnt check, like ii said stupid and desparate as i was.
the simple fact cr england is a horror to work or train or what ever,so if you want to hang out and just correct people.

go to cr england and correct them.
its people like you who dont try to be understanding but to be perfect,is the reason why i dont try to help no body no more,so screw it i will never try to help another upright animal again.

at best i thought another truk driver or two would understand and spread the word on a bad company.

Not so much in one out the other, more like "Well its just them, it WILL be different for me. I can make it work"

Alas that was my theory. And yes it failed for me too. At least I didnt get a chance to sign for a truck headache. But if I did, I would have gone to my bank and got a loan for a buyout. But hey thats just me.

Heard the same thing about CR England in 1989, nothing has changed of course the industry is worse as are most working coniditions.
Not siding with the company,.. which sucks.... but you did abandon the truck. Being logical as you say why didn't you take a few minutes and figure out how to work it so you could get a load back to the terminal and then quit?
Or even something close, then if needed run the thing MT a couple hundred miles and turn it in. Big thing is keeping mouth shut so no one gets the idea you are planning to do that. One slip of the tongue to dispatch and you will be sent the other way with crap loads, they are all crap loads once you are on the bad list.

I remember long ago getting so upset at dirt floor loads of Heinz with low miles, low or lumper pay, long waits (sounds like England) when I off loaded at a Chrsryler Plant west of Chicago and was given another dirt Heinz heavy floor load out of Chicago I said well this is close enough to Ft. Wayne to take this thing back M-T to North American and tell them to shove it.
Far superior then abandon, even if it cost me. However in the heat of the moment I can also see not thinking things through and walking off. Not smart though.

You made more money in your life then most people working there and you had your own business for 13 years. So where is that money or business sense now that you thought that leasing a truck for these guys was a good idea?

To thread starter: No disrespect but that was very difficult to read. Very hard on the eyes. Next time it would be very helpful if you show cased standard grammar and punctuation skills.

I can only say, although I hate to think it, that your lack of understanding the compostion field may reflect, also, to a very minimal understanding of how to represent professionalism in your work life thus why you were fired for obviously abandoning your truck in verbatim text book fashion.

I was there exactly 3 months before they canned me all because "they" claim i failed a post accident drug screen...according to the company. I would not give anyone the time or day to go work for this company.
