Wife found a TQL load yesterday (even though I told her not to deal with them) paying $5+/mi. It was at a quarry though, and I don't do quarries anymore. There's just something about having to replace tires because sharp rocks go through them that irks me.

Why would they fail? They will just charge back the trucking companies if brokers don't pay

I'd bet 75% using factoring companies don't have the funds to pay charge backs. Yeah, sounds like they can't lose, but they get charged back by no pay brokers, and then try to get their money back from already struggling OO'ers.

I was thinking the brokers make all the money.
