Cre isnt all bad.

i have been at cre. burns harbor,in now for 7weeks and its not all bad the training i have received was all top rate. the instructor here are top rate all willing to teach if you are willing to be teachable? i have been out for 4weeks with a o.t.r trainer who was kool as a *removed* he was from my area nyc. and he was teaching me stuff all the time about o.t.r.driving and gave me free meals.he was allways teaching me this either about the truck or the industry my experience with cre. isnt bad i have no intrest what so ever in getting into leaseing (no,no,no) i have had about 3classes on lease and im still saying NO! my trainer gets 6000 miles a week with students and isnt happy with cre lease. cause he had a dedicated run(lost it due to long home time) im going company team and after 90-days of that im jumping ship. i also didnt have to sign a 1year contract cause i had my cdl. they put me in a student refresher course.im only here to grt o.t.r experience and move on (local work) thats my plan.i go out next week for 8weeks with my phase2 trainer after i go home for a week my phase2 trainer will picking me up. so thats all i have to say about my experience with cre.i guess everything i have been reading on this fourm isnt all true i beleave its all based on the persons own experience???

in order for me to go local :I NEED TRACTOR TRAILER EXPERIENCE: the reason im at CRE; is to obtain that. im from nyc. and the companies want 3to6 months t/t experience. (its a insurance issue) cause i wouldnt be at CRE. now makes sense???? i would be doing local work now!!!!

YEAH,YEAH,YEAH... READ MY POST!!!!!! im only there to get experince only and ive been home once and will be going home again (its the first seat driver im with) im doing 6000 miles a week as a 2nd seater. (walmart dedicated run) dont need to lease.

im still at CRE; and im a 2nd seater and my trainer is really kool im still not intrested in a lease i was looking at company team cause thats all CRE; is doing nowi have a kool dude i met day one that wants to team up with me and his driving skills are nice but my trainer wants to keep me on as a 2nd seat at 21cents a mile and if we get 7000 miles a week he will give a 300 dollar bouns and 200 for 6000. so right now im thinking about it cause my class mate lives in my area and thats good for me as far as home time.but i may chase the money? so to all those thinking about CRE; im here to tell you ; FROM MY OWN EXPERIENE; its no all bad the trainning is really good in burns harbor and the o.t.r trainers ( some not all ) are kool or at least mine is as a 2nd seater im getting $700; $800 a week before taxes CRE; did away with company solo the only way you ca go solo is to lease. and for right now CRE; is the only company taking people with no experience. with or with out your cdl'
