    I can't believe I spent 10 minutes reading this thread. That's time I'll never get back! I was hoping for some more good creative ways to get payment from customers, but it descended into a debate about the oh so interesting Com/T checks! :biggrin_25510:

    yeah that's nice, but when did they come into common use for sending documents over telephone lines, the wheel was invented during the stone age but we didn't have cars until quite a bit later. I bet that's how general grant got his orders Lincoln faxed them to him, right.

    Oh lighten up for geez sake it was meant in a funny way no need to :biggrin_2553: about it your the 1 saying they were not available I just showed they were but its ok when you tell people they were wrong , and yes even in the mid 80's FAXES were slow and hard to find

    Police used fax machines in the late 60's I think. They were drums that spun around.
