I've only done Gillette to Broadus once during the day but have been many times from Belle Fourche to Miles City and it is a bit creepy. Tons of deer on the side of the road between Belle Fourche & Broadus.

At night when they jump in front of you out of nowhere it tends to scare me a bit.

The roads leading to Silent Hill, PA. Yeah THE Silent Hill that was the inspiration for movies, books and video games.

Currently, the original roads were erased and you can get some hand made map.

I heard that tow trucks and police won’t even go there if you break down or get lost.

Let's not forget the Ghost town of Centralia, PA.
The town that has been burning underneath the surface for 40 years I think.

I went that way once and decided I never needed to do that again. It only saves 50-60 miles and hardly nothin’ on time because of the lights and slow downs through towns. I-90 you can at least stop in Gillette if you are low on fuel or hours. There is no good places for any of that along 212.

I drove up I-90 on a foggy full moon night past the Little Bighorn Battlefield in Montana. Almost no traffic, and it had been a long day and frankly I should have stopped in Sheridan, I was fighting drowsiness. I definitely felt and almost saw the ghosts!

Yes,but back in the old cash pay as you go Port of Entry days, esp. if you didn't have a Wyoming use plate,it kept Wyoming from picking your pocket for a few bucks.
