I'll try to make this short and sweet.
This is a good company. If somebody was determined to drive a truck for a living, I'de recommend this company to them (or anyone wanting to change companies). I have no idea on their owner operator program, but most of their drivers including myself is company.
Kinda sucks they don't allow pets anymore, but it's not that big of a deal to me. Seriously, about the only other complaint I can even come up with (other then 62mph governor) is miles have been slim some weeks, but from what I've heard thats going around with every company, and I get weeks that make up for it.
Other then that, pay is good, they treat me good, most loads are ok (I'm guessing I drop/hook about 70%), I like the red tractors with Detroits personally (wish it was 13 speed tho), and I like the way dispatch works in this company (your not assigned to 1 dispatcher, it depends on your location... I personally like this much more). It's a good company.
And just a note, other drivers don't give us crap because of the number "1" printed on the trailers. I get guys who drive by and do stupid stuff because of that "1". Fools, I didn't put it there, I'm not racing, and I don't think I'm number 1, I'm just driving down the road! Mind your own biz.

HAHA, that's so funny. You reminded me of something that happened to us one day in Wyoming. We were crawling up over a hill when it was 3 lanes to pass a truck when there was no one behind us. As we were reaching to the top and the lanes were reducing to two... We changed lanes to molasses lane when a 4 wheeler passed us giving us the bird or so we thought. He changed lanes in front of us and kept giving us the finger. I realized that it was his forefinger and told hubby that. I guess he was telling us that we're #1!???
