I left the biz when the owner got a brain tumor and died, and the dealership folded. Was unable to find a decent job at the time...but not all dealerships are alike. And I still need to get to the ESC about career training opportunities. In short, not done yet :)

I spent about a year in the car biz. Not bad...but sure had its ups and downs. CZ....I really hope things turn around for ya! This has been painful to read and hear about, man!

Had a good solid week in Creteville. Been running hard since Monday, and will need a 34 tomorrow. And, on top of it all, I'm sitting in the office of our new home this afternoon, if only for a few hours. Got a load running right through here, so I was able to have my wife come and pick me up so we could have breakfast and I could spend a few hours in the new place....got a shower, did some laundry...just a nice feeling. I didn't even ask for this load, but thought getting it was a possibility after delivering in McDonough, GA yesterday.

I never get a load thru the house. Hell I rarely get to the state unless I'm leaving or coming home. And Texas is a big state lol.

    Well aren't you lucky, Pack.

I'm stuck in LaGrange without an empty. I can think of better places to be stuck. Oy.

Was in the biz for 10 years...definitely got ups and downs. Can't get to the employment security commission til tomorrow so right now the dealership thing is just first available.

Glad to see you got some bonus time at home...always a good thing.

The Keflex and happy pills are finally working...I'm still stoned but I don't have to take the happy pills constantly now. I should be back on my feet in about a week. Doctor at the local ER said I nearly lost my left foot. Pretty sure I'm done with trucking.

    Then again, you never know....

2 job offers on the table so far. Haven't gotten to the ESC yet; had to take some happy pills (pain got to be too much). Trying to wean myself off of them; last thing I want is a dependency issue. Probably going to visit the ESC in a little while.

What state is Celladon based in? That will be the state where you file for unemployment.:biggrin_2556:

Anybody got any ideas for getting a better SWR than 2 in this #### thirteen-letter #### spreader? Every once in awhile it will dip down to 1.5...but for the most part it stays over 2. I'm frustrated, to say the least. Not using the factory mount or coax, using mini-8 coax and a standard mirror-mount... with the same antenna that got a consistent 1.2 SWR on top of a mag-mount on the roof of my car, with a worse coax.
