My Reefer experience with Heyl was quite disappointing due to the vast periods of time waiting for both consignee and shipper appointments. The delays and load lengths at Crete are both shorter but I have Not experienced a high percentage of drop and hook at Crete. Lots of live load and live offload appointments.

Sorry you got switched to Elogs, Zip. So far, those Stealthy Black Angus have eluded me. Head back out on the grind tomorrow with my wife tagging along. She hasn't come along since January.

I resigned again just moments after being advised that the doc evaluating the Sleep Study results was recommending I use a cpap. I have enough doubt to seek a second opinion. I rented a car and headed home. I will try to get a Sleep Study done thru the VA.

Seek a second opinion from a doctor who does not have a vested interest in selling you the machine...

I'm a shaffer driver here for a few months and most all shippers I deal with are drop and hook but 90% of consignees are live offload.xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Ended up only doing 3 stints out with Crete. Last one was only: 2342 paid miles; 4 loads; 8 days.
Overall #s: 20,127 paid miles; 33 loads; 49 days worked; 609.90 avg load length; 410.75 paid miles per day.
Had I been fortunate enough to not be diagnosed with OSA, things may have smoothed out. But that was not to be. -
Back in the ring to take another swing at Crete. I jumped in the ring with Shaffer for a bit. Got my posterior handed to me. My 1st go around with Crete remains my best and most productive overall trucking experience. I'm hoping round 3 is like round 1.
1st load: New Kingstown, PA to Newington, CT. (317).
2nd load: Newington, CT to Adams, MA to Morton Grove, IL. (982).
3rd load: Morton Grove, IL to Elk Grove Village, IL to Enfield, CT. (941).
Scheduled to deliver in CT early Wednesday.paul_4lp, Pintlehook, tucker and 4 others Thank this. -
