Picked up in Florence SC and unloaded in Vineland NJ. I95 always a pleasure. Saw a big truck running the HOV lane while the rest of us sat in traffic. Got passed by a gasoline tanker going into the tunnel at Baltimore. Also saw an oversize wedged into a toll booth that was just a little to tight.
At Carny's Point NJ for the night, pick up in Chester going to Lewiston ME in the morning. So as I'm older, and my truck does smell pretty odd, should I be worried or just plan on doing laundry?

the TA at Paulsboro is way better, good excercise to run across the street and hang out with the locals. But there's no Hooters there
oddly, Yuengling is not considered a domestic draft during happy hour. WTF?Last edited: May 7, 2014

Hey guys, new to the board, having been reading this post and the previous one for hours. Lots of good info but thought Id get it straight from the horses mouth.. Tired of my local gig, tired of the lies and BS... Im aware every co has the pitfalls, but have turned in my app with crete .. 6 years exp less than 1 OTR.. like 5 years ago. Ready to hit the road again. Think crete will be a good fit? No tickets accidents dui's felonies etc... Spotless driving history 1 misdemeanor like 9 years ago but that is it. Are you guys getting decent miles with minimal BS these days or what? ANy info shared would be greatly appreciated.

Delivered my load in LaGrange, GA this morning, then got a sweet load from Lanett, AL to San Antonio, TX, which will give me 3050 miles for the week. Tonight Im relaxing at the Pilot in Moss Point, MS.

Another 13 hour 38 minute day
I was picking up near Denver and the boss man kept asking me what time I would deliver. I finally told him if his guys weren't so slow I would have a better idea. He looked puzzled and I told him I had been here 2 and half hours already and the trlr isn't finished. He got on some ##### and the guys finished me up. Amazingly it was right as the lunch bell rang. The boss man was not happy! So now I have to get up at 0500 again to make delivery. I think I'm going over to the Hunt term to see if the guys can do an A service. Take the rest of the day off. -

You know the last couple of days running in the south have been really nice. I like running in the South far more than I do up there. There's less traffic and the people seem nicer, and ironically I get to pass through my home town tomorrow for the first time since I've been with Crete. Who knows, I may get my wife to pick me up for a quick conjugal visit if I'm lucky.
