Got finagled into doing 4 shags from the rail yard in Hazlet, TX to General Mills in Roanoke, TX tomorrow for $35 a shag. One of the reasons I came to Crete is because I was told that Crete doesn’t do rail and I hate picking up and delivering to rail yards with a passion. Oh well, I’ll get plenty of practice tomorrow.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. They had a bunch of older sold trailers (I stopped counting at 16 and there were more) on the yard. Not sure why they're selling them off in SLC.

Lotsa drivers at the Indy terminal, I done laundry and left. Have to enjoy my weekends. Math says I have about only 1,200 left.

Last night I rented Wolf on Wall Street and Bad Grandpa. Don't do it. I thank god for fast forward. I'd have named them Bad Movie 1 and Bad Movie Do

i feel for the new driver that picked up a tcall with 1 extra stop on Long Island that he can't deliver on time.

Delivered this morning in Sandy, UT. Road was not great for a while northbound out of Beaver, but then became just wet and finally dry. I'm sitting at the J....pulled in to see trucks inventing spots all over the place, but lucked out with an empty slot near the back against the curb. Sitting til tomorrow as 80 is closed in places in WY and I don't feel like chaining. Haven't had to this season....

Been sitting here at the rail yard for over an hour trying to pickup a trailer, but, of course, the CSR provided the wrong pickup number.

Not horrible here in SLC....really nice the last few days running up from Nogales too. Didn't get really crummy until I parked yesterday afternoon. Inside of 30 mins, the winds kicked up into the 30-40 mph range, then the snow came overnight.

Note to self, "Don't go to Haslet, TX". Looks like Houlihans has truck parking, just saying

Weather looks bad in Lincoln, if you're in your truck send them a message so they have to stay upstairs and reply. Sadly I'm not near mine. And I'm sure My a55 man Kenny is in his group home

I only delivered 3 out of the 4 loads. The CSR was never able to come up with a correct pickup number for the one she made me wait for over an hour. Thus, it was cancelled, so I end up getting short changed again as usual.

Then to repay me for wasting my day doing them a favor, they send me a preplan to pick up a load at General Mills that delivers at McClain’s in Lubbock, TX for a whopping 334 miles. Plus the load delivers at 23:00 tomorrow night. Now, I’ve delivered several McClain’s loads in Lubbock, TX when I worked for someone else and I never got out of that place until after daylight the following day.

Anyway, I accepted the preplan but not until after telling them that I knew those McClain’s loads were loads from hell and telling them that I would never do them another favor ever again. Anyway, about 10 minutes later it got cancelled. Thus, tonight I’m at the Pilot in Ft Worth without a load, which is okay because tomorrow is Monday.
