Well if you're near Sutherlin, OR I'm down for the day with no hours.
I called Ops about a reschedule. No dice. So it looks like I will be getting up at midnight or so to make on time delivery. I'm really thinking about taking the rest of tomorrow off because I know those hours will not sit well with me. But on the bright side I will have 2300 miles for this week already.
Oh and I forgot if I said. My two day detention in Schenectady was paid after only 70 days of waiting. It only took getting a VP involved. That will be on this check as well.
Now if I can only last here another 3 months I will get my vacation pay...haha

Delivered a load at Amazon in Schirtz, TX today. Schirtz, TX is just north of San Antonio. Got there at 12:30 for my 13:00 appointment and didnt leave that God forsaken place until 19:00. That place could care less about drivers, but at least those loons signed my detention form. I also almost ran out of hours too. As a matter of fact, I went to sleeper birth with less than a minute left about a half mile from the Pilot in New Braunfels, TX where I will spend the night.
Tomorrow, I will pick up a load in Crystal City, TX and take it to Del-Monte in Fort Worth, TX for delivery anytime on the 14[SUP]th[/SUP]. However, the load is a live load and my appointment isnt until 13:00. Plus according to the load assignment notes at the bottom, that place is notorious for loading heavy loads. Then Crete has me routed on all back roads with no truck stops, much less truck stops with scales. I know it is Texas, but in Texas you never know when they will open a scale, as I have been surprised on more than one occasion. In any event, I will take I-35 to Fort Worth and skip my final fuel stop in Weatherford, TX because the I-35 route verses the Crete route is 11 miles shorter, and there are a ton of truck stops to spend a night. My miles are sucking to high heaven so for this week. -

Just dropped a load at Church and Dwight in Fostoria, OH. Quite the adventure getting here as OH-12 had a closure and the detour had me running on single lane (one lane+ two direction traffic= wtf). I managed to get the last empty on the lot, was doing my pretrip and opened the trailers nose box to find this:
I guess someone was in a good mood or feeling generous when they last dropped the trailer!
EDIT: for some reason the picture posted sideways but y'all get the idea...tucker Thanks this.
