I managed to get away from that place in KY that I will not ever mention again with a 738 mile load that delivered on Tuesday. Holiday weekend be ###### I bugged dispatch enough they tcalled it on the drop yard here and gave me one out of here going to Omaha and Minneapolis (more timeline but 2 stops and both live unloads) with a reasonable timeline. Maybe there's a possibility I'll make some money this week after all. We'll see...

Boy-hi-dee I'm one tired puppy! Ten hours fodee six minutes of driving fun! That's 663 miles from Wilmer to Troy, IL including the 75/69 corridor from Dallas to Big Cabin. I'm still surprised I made it. Now from here to Michigan tomorrow. The cons has overnight parking so if I can just make it 506 miles with exactly 9 hours on my 70 I will be sitten pretty...well as pretty as can be expected:mwink:

Placing bets they send me to Stanwood and the Mecosta water place for a nice 5 hour load :biggrin_25511:

I might try and get a job at Crete.

I tcalled an unproductive load and get this. I got a worse load than I dropped. But since I'm me And not you, I'll hold the empty call for a day and party like a 21 year old.
    Sure I lose 150 paid miles. , but I'll have a good time .

    Knucklehead619 and stungjoe Thank this.

Sitting at my cons in Brighton, MI. There is a TGIFridays just down the street. I strolled down there for some 'tater skins. I ate about half and now I regret it..haha

Looks like I will have about 8 hours left on my 70 when MT in the morning. After that I will be rolling in the hours but it will be a short day tomorrow for a change. The problem with running long days is when you don't get that reset in.

I have 21 hours on my 70, I gain 10 tomorrow. I got a 200 mile deadhead to a 350 mile load, that delivers anytime today, but with my 14 hours, I'll have to drop tomorrow morning.

I just unloaded in Marion, IN at 5 AM. Got a load from Alexandria, IN to Kansas City, KS. Doesn't pick up until 3:30 PM. Drops in KC, KS before 7 PM tomorrow. Lucky for me the clock didn't start at 5 AM or this would be more painful.

Been close on my 70 hour clock recently...but it's getting better. Have 16+ today and gain 10 back tomorrow. Had 3400 miles last week, and sitting at 2500 miles for this week, after KC delivery tomorrow.

From one bad load to another. Just as expected I get a Mecosta water in Stanwood, MI offer. Turned it down because I was so close on hours. i only have 8 for the day. I was told there's nothing else from Michigan but three minutes later I was offered a Battle Creek to Centralia, IL. I told my AM he lied to me(probably should not have done that on the Qcom but he said that load was not available just 3 minutes earlier). So what I thought was a drop hook turns out to be a no appointment sit and wait. Should have stuck with the water load.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me. I'm not seeing the silver lining anymore. usually I would see a glass half full but I'm in a funk and all of the glasses are half empty right now.
