I've used dual lock to mount several things in my truck, but sometimes and certainly not all the time, the glue eventually gives way. Thus, I have to re-apply a little super glue to the mixture and then all is fixed. -
Haven't had it come down in 9 months now... I've actually swapped radios out, too, it still holds strong even after that.
You have to make sure the surface you mount it to is really clean, I recommend using an industrial grade all-purpose cleaner, and scrub it down really well. Take a couple minutes on it. Then, when applying the dual lock, do it like you're applying vinyl lettering, i.e. very slowly and carefully so as to avoid bubbles forming underneath. Do it like that and you'll have to exert a great deal of effort to remove it from even a textured surface, and a razor blade will be required for removal from a smooth surface.Olympian Thanks this. -
I'm really trying hard to understand what the folks in Lincoln are doing recently... I had this preplan sent to me yesterday in IL, picked up between 1000 and 1300 (got there at 1030) delivery showed for today NLT 2359. There was a note attached to the dispatch saying the appointment time would be reset once I sent my L call. When I was loaded up 2 hours later sent a message in saying I was short on hours and if they want the load delivered it'll be late afternoon. 45 minutes later (after I've scaled it and headed out) I get the appointment change message.. It's now due NLT 1300. I messaged back that I had about enough time to make it to the Indy yard on my remaining hours and if they want the load delivered with that timeline they'll need to find someone with hours and t call it there. I get to Indy and find one last message from dispatch telling me to keep the load and do what I can with it, the customers open till 1700 anyways... so now here I sit at the Pilot in Dandridge TN for the night because surprise the customer won't touch anything that comes in after 1300. Oh, and my ASSet Manager had the cojones to ask me this morning why I was running late. Apparently he doesn't read Qualcomm messages he just sends them out.

I will say one thing for Crete, at least from my point of view: the only thing I can really complain about is the lack of active engagement by planners and some AMs, namely reading messages. Every time I'm teed off at Lincoln, this is usually the root of the problem.
Got loaded 3 hours late in WV yesterday. Had to move my greater-Chicagoland delivery from today by 1400 to tomorrow. After del, I'll be at just over 2100 for the week, but I'm running on fumes. 54 days out as of today. Never again. -
SUPRISED ...took a peek at Thurs paycheck and eyeballs started going in circles..... $252 in detention from a load a couple of weekends ago (1.75 days of sitting).
-
54 days? I been out 16 and needed a break. I made it back to the terminal mid morning so they could do my A service. I walked over to the Ramada and got a room. The first room the tv shut off and was smoking, so I got a better room.
Stay out of the Indy terminal, a driver was moving all his stuff in there so his truck could get treated for bed bugs. -
They are nice to have

I think they should route the driver down south and get him a hotel for a couple of days and let the bugs cook in the heat
