I was told average load length was mid 600s and I averaged 680. I told you up front this wasn't a long haul outfit and running West would be rare. REMEMBER!

You guys were right. About 3 hours from N.Platte I get a preplan from the DC to Council Bluffs. It was an easy 286 miler and since the trlr was ready almost 2 hours ahead of schedule I ran with it. Made my day 597 miles and I'm sitting on a preplan from Omaha to northern Alabammie. Appears to be a D/H on both ends for a change. I actually found a parking spot at the Peelot in C/Bluffs and with only 28 min.s left on my 14.

BTW those guys at the Wally DC can't load a trlr to save their life! On one pallet they stacked dry baby formula on top of paper towels. Not the kind in a box but just paper towels in a plastic wrapping...haha Of course the guys had to re-stack that one. I was on sticker patrol and got them all!:biggrin_25526:

I have a buddy that works for them. I'm going to text him to see what's up. Hopefully, he will land on his feet.

With my reefer gig, I have been ready to head back out from home time in Florida for 2 days. Both days I called in and was told to call back the next afternoon. No freight. In my 3 years of dry van, it never happened. Not even once. I guess there are worse places to be stuck than home.

Well tomorrow is gonna suck! I have 360 miles to go and only 7.5 hours on my 70. So basically when i del in Scottsboro, AL, at about 1400, I will be stuck there till Friday :biggrin_25510: Looks like I have a choice of a small truck stop with a Dairy Queen or a small truck stop with a view of a nuclear power plant...haha decisions decisions :biggrin_25515:

I also got word my new driver's license is in. Now with an "X" endorsement!

I'll have to see how much time I have left. I'm pretty heavy and I have some hills (including Mounteagle) between here and there. I'm hoping to keep a good pace so after the drive time, the 30 minute D/H and my morning PT I may have up to 45 minutes to an hour left. Of course I could always get a hotel there in Scottsboro. Looks like they have a few.

Hey...didn't they change the A service intervals to every 25,000 miles, because if not then I'm over due?
