Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

Picked up a load of Tissue in Oklahoma City this morning. I was hoping it would turn out to be a drop and hook and it did. I dropped my empty in one door and backed up to one next to it. Then I waited four hours for them to load it. I have a 2030 appointment at the Safeway in Tempe AZ Sunday night. Just in case they have me unloaded in less then 8 hours, does anyone know a good parking spot around there?

We have a terminal in Phoenix, I'm not sure if there's many taverns within walking distance, but, you could seal the empty and bobtail, but do not drive back to the terminal for at least 10 hours.

Have fun finding the correct locked gate in the dark.

On an embarrassing note: I lost my enforcer lock I know it's laying in the yard at the KimberlyClark whs in downtown Owensboro somewhere. I unlocked the trlr and placed it on the bumper while I opened the doors. Then I bumped the dock and forgot about. I guess I will have to buy a new one tomorrow.

 

Just call Owensboro and have them pick it up, I'm there all the time. I'll grab it and give it back or drop it at a terminal.

I was never quite that big but close enough. I still wear one of my XXL shirts just to remind me of where I was. I also have one medium that I wear to remind me of where I want to be. My larges are getting a bit loose so the mediums aren't far off.

 

That's my home terminal. Fair warning the PHX yard is in kinda a rough area. I wouldn't advise walking anywhere after dark. There's a reason they've gone through several TVs and now close the drivers lounge when the good folks in the office go home at 5.

 

At the 7 Feathers Casino/TS in Canyonville OR getting ready to give back to the natives... tucker had the right idea after all. Any fellow Cretens in the area let me know and I'll buy you a drink.

They ever reopened the poker room there? I stopped stopping there when they closed it.
