Finished this week on Thursday with 3200+. Delivered in Idaho Falls, picked up a load 4 miles away and deliver in Ft. Worth Tuesday at 0800. 1360 miles doesn't seem like that good of a run given the time on it, but it fits my hours and puts me in great position to be home on-time yet again. Might even grab a 34 to maximize my availability T/W/Th/F.....haven't decided yet.

Sitting in a door at Publix Jacksonville. Got a preloaded waiting for me in Palatka headed to Crossett, Arkansas. Bunk A/C was a bad relay they believe. Drug a broken Reefer from the Deland yard up to Sunbelt Carrier in NW Jax. Then they sent me to the railway down on the South side of Jax to get this Publix load. After searching the railway Twice I concluded the Loaded trailer wasn't there. It was at the drop yard back up on the NW side. Wild goose chase on a Friday afternoon. Barely made the appt time. I'm gonna grab that Palatka load and run a little ways with it if I can.

Blue 60a fuse, four bucks at the pilot. All I needed was my Swiss Army Knife pliers to extract the old one. All the same symptoms, too.

I've been getting those kind of runs as well. Average's a li'l under 400 miles/day. However if I did the math correctly I'm at 3788 plus shag pay for a 32 miler. The last 788 miles was the load I delivered today which was due tomorrow. I even lucked out and they had an MT in Sapulpa and just let me D/H ;). I'm sitting in Edmond now waiting to p/u my weekend run to Hattiesburg and that glorified cross-dock of a warehouse known as Sams. It's a live unload at 0500. You know it's one heavy load when they 'splain about the 400 pound exemption rule and don't fill up before you scale and don't send loaded before you scale...haha

No reefers here! Well they did con me into one reefer load and I told them never again! Too much time waiting to get loaded or unloaded!

My loads have sucked for a long time, if I see a 3,000 mile week, it's because I didn't care to Transflo loads and they built up.
Sadly, today, I have to resort to use the free wifi inside of a Hooters. Life's tough here.

edit... This state has a law where everyone gets ID'd to get a drink, plenty of 70 year olds are getting ID'd, I'm in my 3rd place. I ain't been checked yet.

i guess they think I'm a minor and they want my money???

It is so worth the 5 buck tip to see these young country singers in the local dives in Nashville sing a Mel McDaniel song . Louisiana Saturday Night they played. They done great. Makes me proud of our yutes.

edit,,,, Amarillo by Morrning, without a fiddle was awesome. I'm 5 bucks poorer.

They nailed Drunk on a Plane, goodbye Lincoln.( A five bucker)

im getting my liver stapled like Joe

hang tight, they don't know Henry Lee Summers.
Thus beats running 4000 miles a week, plus I have a hell of a story that most Pansy's would put in the vault. I'll share it next time I m home and have my mail

They told me this load usually goes on the train. I don't think there was enough time this time. I ended up driving to a food bank to drop off the osd.
