583 miles today and a preplanned tcall in Lenoir City. I think my AM felt bad because I sent him a reminder message at 13:11 asking about the Tcall. He said he was checking on it at 0900 or so this morning. He never got back with me. So at 1600 I called him. He said he was still at lunch when I sent that message and someone looked at it but didn't let him know. Sounds logical since it's happened before around shift change...haha

Hey Knucklehead, I like those kind of loads. "just pick it up and we'll make some stupid illogical decision on del times so it will screw you up the most"..haha NOT!

 

Ugh, back to work in the morning, it's been a great 4 days off.

And the cluster f@ckery continues. I got this same load into New Kingstown last night just short of the end of my 14. I wake up this morning with a message from dispatch saying take the load to final and drop, they'll accept it. 2:30 later here I am with the lady in receiving looking at me like I've got something growing out of my forehead. "We don't want that load here. Come back Monday at 1500". At this point I'm out of patience and I let the good folks in Lincoln know exactly that. Now I get to sit here and wait to find out if the planners want this trailer in Macungie (I didn't even know that place was still open) or if I need to take it back to New Kingstown.

Volvo, you peeked my curiosity. I checked and I had 638.1 on 7/16. My best since returning.

 

Dude on 7/24 you got Screwed! How did you have that much time on line 4? Ouch!

 

Anybody know if DG in Jonesville, SC is really a live offload or a drop? Qualcomm says 08:00 on 7/28 but I'm skeptical.
