three years ago starting pay was 500/week for two months of training(provided you had no previous experience at driving but I think it's higher now). Local in Dallas paid only $160/day provided you worked more than 8 hours that day. I was quoted regional/dedicated was around 38CPM. I know they used to do a Wally World up in the Indiana area. But one thing about that is if they lose the bid next year you'll have another decision to make.

    Good luck!

Well she told me .39cpm on weekly home time because I am a military veteran. Just curious what starting pay is and if .39 sounds right for a veteran

That is a good rate with no experience and home weekly. I met a regional driver a couple months ago at North Bend, Washington that has been with Crete 3 yrs and still only getting .37.

I agree, I was just wondering if the recruiter was lieing about the pay or not.

Taking a reset under a load at the Farmer Boys restaurant in Ontario, California. Consignee is a half block away. Arrived at 07:00 this morning and delivers 06:00 Monday. Idle % will be high again.

I never look at my idle time, unless I run into a noob that wants to keep theirs real low. I show them mine, I have the office person attitude "I'm gonna be comfortable at work" can't imagine anyone has ever been disclipend for it.
