So xlsdraw are you happy to be back a CCC or is there room for greener pastures

 

Crete has treated me pretty good except on getting me
Home the last 2 times and I live in Indiana
I'm out 4-5 weeks and they still struggle getting me home on time
My asset manager is a really pain she is terrible
With working with drivers

I'm happy with the pay for the most part
But besides that I'm disappointed

none OTR company is great, none I've heard of.
I'm disappointed in feeling like a number here and the garbage trucks, still worth it though...better than being paid garbage.

 

Nice, simple, and accurate post. To date, I have also failed to feel satisfied with any OTR company and most likely never will as a company driver. The transition from employer to employee is not an easy one to make.

 

There is always room for greener pastures if greener pastures actually exist.

 

Disappointed with the trucks here
I've had better trucks with my other company
Treated better and don't say go back they were bought out so that's not happening
Pays been good though
Seems like a fight to get home time here

 

Wow, talk about a good run of loads. I came back off a vacation on 8/12 and got a 350 mile load, followed by 1300 miler that I ended up t-calling in North Platte, NE when I had a breakdown. After the truck was fixed, I got a 1350 mile load to the LA area (not a favorite destination but miles are good going and coming). Load back East from LA was a 3148 miler to Maine. Delivering that this morning and have a preplan for 1450 miles from Portland to Memphis, delivering Friday. LA to Maine load picked up last Thursday, so it and the Memphis load will be on one check...4597 miles for that check. Most I will have had on one paycheck. However, this coming check will suck because of that.

 

Looks like I'm gonna have two short paychecks in a row. Last week, 1600 miles because I came home Thursday. Was scheduled to come back out this morning, but we have developed several large cracks in a living room wall, and my wife has an important meeting at work, so I'm home for one more day.

I called in yesterday to let Crete know, and she noted it...asked me to follow up with my AM this morning, and I did, and lo and behold...the notation was there, and my AM was aware of it!

Wow.

She was also super cool about it...just told me to check in when I'm ready to roll Tuesday. Makes things easier when there's no fight about it, and I appreciate that.
