    Greetings, all....

Thanks for the kind wishes....things are leveling out, and I believe it'll all be OK....pretty rough spot for us....just too much crap and too little real communication. Again, thank you.

Ill refrain from commenting on Crete's CPAP charade....I've made my thoughts well-known on their bogus program. But to follow-up on SSBs thought that the machine I brought with me was compatible with Crete's monitoring system...no, it isn't. It does have the card, which I have to have read once a year before my annual DOT physical. I bring three pages of printed results with me to the doc and they have it on file. But should they ever change that for me, requiring I get their machine, I'm gone...now...no questions asked. I will not participate in their program, one that is designed to enhance their billfolds first and benefit drivers second.

    OK...so I WON'T refrain from commenting.....

Been running good....in SLC now, heading to Lathrop, CA for Monday. Only 720 miles, but I need a 34 right now, and this fits. Not going home til the 27th, and the break will be nice. Pretty emotionally and physically pooped, compounded by the fact that a dear friend of mine may have ovarian cancer....emotional overload right now....

...life gets easier after 50. Yeah, right!

    testing....

I see 39 pages but the darn thing won't go past page 38

EDIT: that was weird now I can see the latest posts :whoknows:

OK so one week in the books as a solo cruder. For some reason they seem to think I'm still an OTR driver. I've gotten the 590 mile round trip-er four out of five days! One load and a lot of driving! It pays well though and I'm back home in 11 hours. God bless Texas and the 75MPH speed limit..haha

My thought is this...they want you on time no questions asked because they're collecting detention but have no intentions of paying you any of it....

Seems like years since I ran my 70 out.
I ran as far west as I could and have to take a reset today. I only gained 3.75 today and 5.75 Sunday.

I thought this load would deliver on the 16th, but Crete made it the 15th before 13:00. I picked it up near Savannah, GA and it goes just south of Salt Lake City.
900 miles left and I have to cross CO on I-70 and up hwy 6. At least the load is sort of light.

I'm at the J in Lodi, Ca resetting. Deliver in Lathrop Monday at 0600.

Given that this is my first time up here as a Creten (or anyone else for that matter), what might I expect getting out of here?

Jeez, you're so close to The Loves in Ripon, with that fine tequila.....

seems I picked up rice in the middle of nowhere, north of there, don't know where it went.

at least you didn't get stuck on I-15 in the flood zone.

    48Packard Thanks this.

Expect a JC Penney load out of Lathrop. We run 3-4 loads per day out of there per day all going to Spanish Fork UT. Failing that we have a drop lot in Stockton and you might can almost always expect northbound freight out of there (OR/WA). Hope for the JCP stuff as it's light and an easy trip.
