Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

Well recruiting is processing me now. Should be in orientation in 2 weeks.Will be Dallas terminal I'm assuming.

 

Can't wait for my home time
Getting sick of the truck
I get off next Monday - Saturday

I am taking time off starting next Weds. They had me t-call in East St Louis today, now lined up for an Edwardsville to Memphis load tomorrow and then Monday Jonesboro, AR to Wilmington, IL. After that, off to Springfield for time off!

 

I'm home now, but only until Tuesday morning, then running exactly 21 days until next home time. Have to renew my CDL next time home...could do it Monday, but I always freak just a bit when I have to take those endorsement tests, so I'm getting the materials to study Monday instead. Already got my OK from the Feds as to my HazMat renewal. Staying out the week of T'giving as wifey is going to be at Quantico that week watching her daughter graduate from Officers Training School.

 

I'll try that, I been setting the cruise at 62, not touching any pedals and holding the accel-resume to bypass the jake

 

I still spend my driving time with my foot to the floor. But now it's at a slightly higher speed.


I've been reading the posts. It sounds like the same ol stuff. Those that enjoy the life are still enjoying it! Those that don't well...

Hey guys, anybody here done a lease/purchase with Crete? If so, what are the benefits to LP over being a company driver?

Also, any changes in the pet policy? I see some Shaffer teams with pets and I think hunt can have a pet solo. I would like to have a dog with me. Crete looks like a good company.
