I just heard from Crete that their drivers average 2900 miles a week, but I'm guessing from these posts that may be off a bit?
The last 6 months the "Lives" killed my mileage with my present company, and I'm looking for any kind of high mileage out there, as I have no problem driving 3000 in a week. -
Sustanon Thanks this.

Does anyone know the fuel surcharge for the o/o's? Does it cover all of your fuel expenses?
-
This whole month has been BS, When I finish off this 104 miles for a 1100 Mon Live offload, I will be at 5387 miles for Apr. I have directed my pissedoffness to any soul reading the QC.

If you ever just really want to piss her off, tell her "It's above your pay grade"Sustanon Thanks this. -
I'm at 49 cents per mile now, no chance of a raise this year. Way too low miles, mostly because I don't care.
But in reality, if I run 2,000 miles, um, it's almost a grand to me, and my cost of living is pretty low.

In the past, you didn't get a fuel surcharge until fuel got up to around 1.19-1.25 ( I can't remember exactly ). Then, every six cent increase in price of a gallon of fuel, you would get one more cent per mile.
So, at six miles per gallon fuel consumption, the fuel surcharge would cover the additional cost of fuel over the $ 1.19/gal. But fsc is only paid on loaded miles.
Crete has adjusted how they figure fsc, which resulted in a reduction of the fsc paid to o/op. They did that at the same time they increased the pay rate for o/op's.
Crete giveth, and Crete taketh away. Like when they gave a raise and reduced the production bonus we used to get.Wild Murphy Thanks this.
