Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I thought I was losing my mind this morning on the pa turnpike. I'm crawling up the big hill heading east about the 97 yardstick and see a truck gaining on me quick, I look back again and he's gone, somehow he ran off the road, thankfully a bear was behind him and stopped

 

I sent in a message that I was going back to KC terminal when MT ( 9 miles).... my AM sent me a message that it was OK to head to terminal when MT

 

Called my AM this morning. Told her my scheduled return to duty for tomorrow morning would likely be delayed due to projected snow here in SC. Wasn't gonna pull an empty wagon to my either of my usual out-of-the-house pick-ups, Florence or Beech Island, SC, each being over 70 miles from home.

"You wouldn't want to come out early and beat the weather, would ya?"
"You're right....I wouldn't (chuckling)."
"OK. Check in tomorrow. I'll put you out til Thursday".

I told her I was staying out all the way through February because of some family plans in early March. She's real cool, and a big part of my general satisfaction with Crete for the last six months.

 

BTW...has anyone tried to get on CreteCarrier.com lately? I've tried with three different devices and two different browsers with no luck....

 

I can only get on with the iPhone or Google Chrome using Windows 7
i blame our it guy

 

I've now tried my home PC, laptop, and my iPad with Chrome, Explorer, and Safari. Nothing.

 

I edited my post, I have to use Google Chrome

 

working here. plus the driver's portal is working also

 

Being as I'm one of those "If I can't fix it with a four-pound hammer, I can't fix it" type of guy, I'm lost for an explanation....yeah, like that's unusual.....

 

LOL, guess he doesn't know the difference between a request and a statement.
