Then take 4 off. I go by 6days out, 1 day off. I'm always out at least 24 and take 3 or 4 off. I always add a day or two because I like to get home on Thursday or Friday cuz wife is home...

There is a little flexibility in the home time policy, IF you utilize your time efficiently out here. My AM is being addressed on the matter.

I got the 11ish weeks of unpaid vacation saved up, so they can take a day or so.
I told her the week before I wasn't sure how long I needed off.
    Ended up being 5 days.
If I could have found a contractor to do my dirt work, I'd still be at home.
It rains every other day where I live:(

4 is the maximum days off, but they'll let you take off more.

Wild Murphy and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.

I think you're right, I called her Storm today and she denied being Storm, claimed her name was Jessica.
But I'm a slacker for not dropping a load today at the end of my 14 and no parking nearby. The load info showed the delivery time as all morning tommorow, and will be delivered on time.
    Maybe she needs some Pamprin?

I live in CA and I'm on the RDO45 fleet. Which means I'm generally out 6-8 weeks at a shot. At the moment I'm sitting at the house on day 3 of 6 1/2 days off (delivered Monday afternoon, time off actually started Tuesday morning, back on the road Monday morning). So long as you stay out 6 weeks+ you can get 6 days off... any more than that and they may ask you to turn in the truck before you go home and get a different one after your home time is up.

    JOHNQPUBLIC and tucker Thank this.
