I once did a run from Blaine, WA to Cincinnati, OH. Routed across 90/94 If that's a regular load, your battle plan is as follows: get to SLC, then ask for Seattle. Should be easy, as KCC in Ogden ships to Costcos in the Seattle area. I've done that. Once in Seattle, Blaine is within reasonable deadheading distance.

Raymond? If so, head to the TA thereafter (NH-101E to exit 11/NH-108N to NH-33E to avoid I-95 toll and cut off miles, all are truck routes) then call a cab or otherwise finagle your way to downtown Portsmouth, and grab a bite at either Gilley's on Fleet St. or The Friendly Toast on Congress St. Either one of those are always bucket-list items when I go back "home" to see Dad. Portsmouth is pretty cool, one of my favorite small cities, and one of the only places out east that I can truly say I miss. Along with the White Mountains in northern NH, and coastal Maine.

You are sounding like Tucker, advising on fine establishments to visit.

Pleasure meeting you at that fancy invitation only event out West last week.

recruiters lie sure but how often do operations officials send a driver an email guaranteeing they'll meet the drivers requirements to come back?

this is why crete is not the company it used to be... They used to be one of the top companies with a waiting list to get on... Now apply today start tomorrow

They still pay better than pretty much everywhere else for OTR though.
That's what sucked me in when I went to work there.
I saw $1300 pay checks with 7 months experience so I can't complain.
