I swear, the only trucks out here are 60 to 61 mphers.
The dozens of Stevens contractor trucks, the Swifts, England, Mays and the W Holding truck.
The last 2 days, 90 % of the time, I'm behind a truck that I cannot pass.
The westbound Utah POE, I get the green light, Swift goes in, YES!!! I floor it, (LOL) and another Swift is coming out of the scale, cruise back down, FML, but he goes west on 80, I exit to 84 :) yes, all is well for about 2 miles, where did May come from? I pull off in the little pull off for 10 minutes, come out behind England, AAARRRGGHHHHH!!!!!!!
Passed him in the 55 mph curves.

Been hearing they are keeping truck longer. Asked a guy from the shop if there was any method to what was going on and he just said they are trying get to get rid of all the 34xxx's. As soon as they're gone they will start on the 35xxx's.

I'm kinda surprised you kept that long as well. The first truck I was assigned when I hired on was sold out from under me 5 months after I got it. Mileage was somewhere around 430k. And they didn't even bother sending me a Qualcomm message... I brought it into KC for a B service and the next day when I was supposed to pick it up I was asked why I didn't clean it out (and where I was getting my next truck from since they were out of open ones). Wound up getting a reject truck that was dumped at Cummins in Tulsa. Lucky for me that one broke again within a month and I got a much nicer (and newer) truck.

I ran my first Crete truck up to 673,000. I have seen a few @ 750,000. That was the mid-90's. Economy was good. I was told that Freightliner couldn't keep up with demand, so new trucks were arriving behind schedule.
