Starting 2016 with a bang. Made 12000 miles for January, even with spending 3 days in the shop. Now granted I was out the whole month, but that was my choice, as I had a dentist appt coming up.

I had 9,246 miles in January, and 5 days home.
    That'll be tough to beat

I had 11,560 miles in January, with no time off. A full 20% of the miles were deadhead miles.

So has anybody done their taxes yet? A new change this year is the amount of the per diem deduction. Count your away days before and after Oct. 1st. After 10/1 the deduction is higher by a few bux!
BTW H&R is getting crazy on their fees! I might have to find someone else next year.

These guys are cheap, and who I use.
But then you don't qualify for the per diem anymore. image.jpeg

What are the odds that this is there while I deliver? Actual miles are higher , but it's too much work to scroll and find them.

A lackluster week, followed with a 600plus mile load for the weekend.
At least I'm in PA with good fresh Yuengling draft, Chinese beer is the best.
PA to Michigan. Ugh!!! I'll need a new liver before Monday.

Yingling is an American Beer brewed in Tampa Florida. One of the oldest breweries in America

We brought the Chinese over way back then to do the hard work us Americans were to lazy and honerery to do. And when the railroad tracks were done in Pottsville, PA area, the Chinese were out of work and started brewing beer.

And the Chinese worked cheap. Plenty of Americans work hard . Always someone wanting cheaper labor .

I drink Yingling when I'm avoiding getting drunk. Otherwise, I drink the locally brewed stuff.
I recommend Highland Gaelic, or Pisgah Pale if you want something lighter.
If you get down this way, I'll introduce you to the local stuff. We are just full of breweries now.

But Yuengling is NOT Tampa based. Tampa is a satellite brewing location. It is based out of Pottsville, PA. It's our local brewery and we're proud to have them!
