Crete doesn't have much dedicated. Out and back?
    Unlikely.

We just had a driver get awarded for his 50 years with Crete.
He threw his gift across the parking lot, but then he's old and it didn't go to far.
    I snagged it,

Getting ready to leave the drop yard in Denver with a load heading for Chino CA. Only problem... there's a couple hundred tons of rock currently blocking Glenwood Canyon on 70. My asset manager looked at everything and told me to go down through Albuquerque and across 40 instead of going up to Cheyenne and down through SLC (which would've been about 50 miles shorter). That's an extra 200 miles on my paycheck though so I can't complain.

I'm somewhere around day 16 or so since I've been home and for some reason all I've done is run in and out of CA. The furthest east I've made it was Omaha (and got turned right around back to CA). The funny thing is all this is happening after I spent the better part of 2 weeks trying to get home to get my DOT physical turned in (eventually made it to the DMV with about 4 hours to spare) only to be told "there's no CA freight". Go figure.
