Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

Should be in orientation here shortly passed my dot physical gotta wait another week or 2 then out to Lincoln probably then with a trainer for 3-6 weeks since I haven’t been driving long distance in about 2 years

Hopefully I can get 2500-2700 Miles paid or close this time I was averaging around 2200-2300 miles paid and a lot of north east freight cdl should be active after this next week then setup a Orientation date hopefully I get out to the mountain west 2-3 times a year and West Coast once

 

A little over 2800 paid for me last week. It gave me a 2 week total of over 5000 which is a little down from what I was averaging. You should get your miles federal221. I dropping out east and then get maybe one load and sent west. I'm on my home load and made it home for Easter but load delivers locally tomorrow. Probably taking 4 days after that to recharge. It will be a nice time off.

 

I’m only doing 4 weeks out then 4 days off i was getting burnt out doing 5-6 weeks at a time hopefully I can be out of the Columbus yard this time around instead of the Indianapolis yard even though I live in Indiana

 

Heading west running nights to make otd. Woke up to find both I-80 and US30 closed in Wyoming due to “winter conditions” had planned on trying US30 because of predicted wind but I guess I’ll be waiting a while.

 

Man is this winter ever going to end up there? I'm glad I postponed my return to OTR from the end of March to the end of April. Stay safe out there.

 

Supposed to snow in Indiana a little tomorrow afternoon i should be back out shortly waiting on my physical to clear and passed all the tests I needed too seems like it takes a internity for everything to clear

 

Yeah it seems like you’ve been trying for years.

 

@tucker ya I’ve done all my eye tests again and passed my physical now i have to wait 14-21 days for my cdl to update Indiana wanted me to retest again lol I wasn’t going to do that sent in my paperwork saying I’m recovered from my eye surgery it’s all on my file now took the general knowledge and other tests too
