My average run is over 700. Last two were 1600 and 1800. Holidays are only slow downs Ive had since last fall.

New raise kicks in 9/1. Are you stuck with .49 if you start before?

 

Confused on what I should choose... Walmart dedicated or National OTR.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Ty

 

Nope on the .49.
I should be raised to the .51 come September 1st. But like I said to them, “what’s the motivation to come onboard sooner than September 1st”. They couldn’t answer that, instead they are reviewing my file to see if they will put me at .51 to start.

 

I doubt they would raise your pay to 51 cents. You’ll get the “um, that only applies to drivers hired after September 1st”
As far as Walmart dedicated, do you live near a DC that they run dedicated freight out of? Otherwise you’ll reset at or near the Walmart dc every week and then they’ll have to find a way to get you home for your hometime.

 

Go national and ask to fill in on walmart fleets. kind of test drive. the walmart fleets are always needing help.

 

Ya, I agree with you. There must be a reason why the Walmart dedicated is open and no1 wants it.

 

Well if that’s the case I get 769.00 a week from unemployment so I’ll be happy waiting till September 1st IF they don’t want to pay that today. Sad but true.

 

Tell me, the current drivers aren’t getting bumped up to .51 CPM come September 1st reguardless of DOH. That’s awful if true.
