Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I have slowed down also I’m in NJ picked up earlier heading to Columbus Ohio hopefully get freight to Pittsburgh or close if freight is bad I’m taking Saturday and Sunday off I also don’t have a lot of hours right now

 

If freight continues to be slow then I will probably turn the truck in to Indianapolis and take 2-3 weeks off and travel a bit see some baseball

 

I’m sitting in the Monroe MI TA waiting for a load since yesterday afternoon. Thank God I’m on salary. Not even stressed over it.

5Hours to get 150 miles.
Every time I get sent up here,I say Im going to quit,but never do.

 

So went over to the dark side for a couple loads. Reefer load out Bethlehem to a C&S in Westfield MA then deadhead to Portland ME for another to Easton PA. Empty an hour ago and told freight continues to be “soft”.

 

Finally got a load. Toledo Ohio to Apple Valley CA. 2300 miles. Not to bad. Leave in the morning after I finish this 34.

 

Did you walk over to the bar just west of there?

 

No I walked over to Wendy’s.

 

I haven’t had a Taco Salad since I gave up OTR
