The drivers that are assigned to this account.
I’m on the national (48) account.

So... Crete requires drivers from any account from time to time to run WM loads?

@drvrtech77 ... what account do you work for at Crete?
Have you ever been called to "volunteer" to help at a WM DC?

Yes... I thought that account might be similar to the WM account I did in another company I worked for many years ago... But it seems it's not.

Does driver get a loaded trailer at WM DC and deliver at WM stores? Or does driver get an empty trailer at DC and pick up load at shipper?
What is it that drivers don't like about it?

Drivers attached to WM DC pu loaded trlr, make several stops, then either return to DC with their MT or a swap with loaded trlr (usually pallets) return.

As for me, if you're volunteer from another division, the loads available to you are based on what's not covered by permanent drivers. I didn't like the short runs, and windy roads in Cheyenne region.

    O.Henry and Rocks Thank this.

Crete handles the Cheyenne, wy; Mankato, mn; North Platte, ne; and Paul's valley, ok Walmart dcs. I helped out at the Cheyenne one once for a week. You pickup at the DC and deliver to the stores and run empty back to the DC. That's a "load." Start and end at the DC. They might have you pickup a back haul, but think it's kinda rare. Had to be on the dock at the store and peel stickers, but not too bad. Not a lot of paperwork. Just put the stickers on the sheet you get and put in a bin when you get back to the DC. Think most of the complaints at least for Cheyenne are about having to deal with Denver and the mountains. North Platte is supposed to be pretty good. Heard Paul's Valley isn't though. I'm on the shaffer national fleet, so don't know exactly why
