One thing I don't like about Crete is all the technology in their trucks... most carriers are putting all they can in their trucks cause it might "help" them with their insurance in case of an accident and it's becoming more and more difficult to find a company that doesn't have all that crap...O.Henry Thanks this.

They did accept my application before Christmas.... and I accepted to go thru their training... one said it might be 2 weeks, another said 3 or so... I asked to start orientation around Jan/10th... but so far they haven't been able to find me a non-smoker trainer that trains females... they told me maybe within a couple or more weeks they would have someone... and I told them will try another place...motocross25 Thanks this.

Ah. Got it. Well that’s a bummer I remember you goin to their terminal and everything and really doing your research, sorry it didn’t pan out for you.Rocks Thanks this.

Yeah... I went to their HQ twice.... and had a meeting with some folks there, also visited their shop over there... then, visited the drop yard in Lebanon and spoke with the terminal manager.. Unfortunately, didn't see any driver in any of those places....
That's all right... maybe that wasn't the "right" company for me anyway...motocross25 Thanks this. -
@motocross25 do you drive for Crete?
motocross25 Thanks this. -
One Crete driver told me that company gives one day off for each week on the road. So, if one stays on the road for 3 months, does Crete allow driver 12 days off?
-
Nope I don’t. I had applied for a dedicated position with them out of KC but at the last second balked on it. I’m a local shag driver for FCC. So like you said, one job doesn’t quite work out, something will come along that’ll hopefully fit your needs even better.Rocks Thanks this.

For 4 days so far,I’m averaging 310 miles a day.
Rocks Thanks this. -
Think it's 1 day off for every 6 days out. At least for the national flee. Think it's the same for regional too
