Crete Carrier or Averitt Express ?

See for yourself...i have driven for averitt..terrible experience..

I have known several from crete and they were miserable..

You have to start somewhere but if iknew what area you lived i could give better advice

 

Your worried about a road test cretes is a joke mine was
10 minutes maybe

 

Both are good for your experience level, you can earn 40CPM+ with each.

Averitt is regional, Crete you'll go everywhere.

Averitt won't let you bring the truck home but Crete will.

I debated these choices as well a few month ago along with SE carriers.
I went with Crete.. actually on Shaffer which is apart of Crete.

Averitt is anal about a lot, you have to wear uniforms.. they even have facial hair rules you have to follow.
That is not for me, I didn't get into trucking to follow appearance rules when I'm alone in a truck 99% of the time.

 

You scan your scale tickets.. whatever you spent goes onto that weeks paycheck.

 

It depends where you live but you'll go everywhere.
I've been from California to Maine in the few months I've been here, though I'm on the shaffer side.

I came here for the money, couldn't find anywhere else that would pay me higher than .43CPM as I'm getting here with less than a year experience.
I have no complainants, besides the cheap freightliners but I rather drive a cheap truck than get paid less to be paying off someone elses nice truck to drive.

 

Yes, doesn't every company pay for Orientation?
You don't make a decision on joining a company based on their orientation pay though lol.
