Got a load of rocks out of South Carolina that went to New Jersey. Got to run through the house for the night and delivered early this morning. Got a not so sweet load picking up in Breinigsville, PA. The traffic was horrible through Philly and a street sign threw me off and sent me up a more podunk road than the one I was routed on so that was fun. Got to the Nestle Water plant and there were a ####load of other folks there as well. By some miracle after waiting in line for 30 minutes I had a door open and they loaded it up pretty quick. Two other Crete drivers where in docks when I went in to get a door and they were still at the dock when I left, guess they knew who I was and heard it wasn't good to delay me
) Well the load delivers tomorrow morning in Hampton, VA. The trip was pretty tiresome as I rolled down US13 through Delaware, Maryland and VA. Lots of stop lights, none timed well for big trucks of course. At least got to go over one of my favorite bridges. Hopefully get sent toward home tomorrow after getting this water off.

Sweetness. Picking up a load in Richmond and dropping her off in Greensboro and heading home for a few days. Nice to get in another 300 miles while heading home instead of deadheading in like last time. Have a good weekend all.

Well a pretty ###### day. Got up early at home and drove to the terminal in hopes of getting an early load. Still no empties at the terminal although there was 5 loaded trailers. For whatever reason they didn't put me on any of those loads and I had to wait until a driver brought in an empty for me about 7 hours later. Of course the empty had a mud flap torn off which I had to deal with at a local shop. After that was done dispatch offered me 2 options, one that delivered into Jersey City, NJ that could be delivered as soon as I can get there (one of the loads that had been sitting in the yard all morning) and another load picking up at P&G in Brown Summit going to a little above Hartford, CT with a 0700 delivery on Thursday. Well I hate NJ but the other option wasn't much better so I took what I thought would be a quicker drop with an additional chance to roll back through the house tonight but I ended up screwing myself a little as this load has an additional p/u tomorrow only 55 miles away from the terminal. And just for some more heart ache today hooked up to the trailer and it had a flat tire, (many thanks to the driver that screwed me there
So after another repair delay I finally got out of the yard and drove up to Danville, VA tonight. The week can only get better

A pretty long day. Lots of rain up toward Baltimore all the way to my drop in Jersey City,NJ. Got a load picking up down the road a couple of exits but going to have to wait until tomorrow as not enough time to get in and out and find a parking spot. Heading to Bloomington, MN but way too much time on it so sitting up a t-call in Romeoville, IL. Sure be glad to get the hell out of NJ. Sorry I missed all of the Republican Scholars debating tonight as I needed a little comedy for the road

A solid 598 miles in today, hopefully all of it paid as I had to make some out of route adjustments due to the flooding. Made it into Harrisburg without too much of a delay with the exception of the rerouting up US 15 to catch US 322, after that pretty smooth sailing. Sitting in Perrysburg, OH tonight and hoping to drop this load in Romeoville early tomorrow afternoon and get something heading west
Wish I would have had my camera today as some pretty impressive pictures of a muddy Susquehanna river would have been available. -
The susq always seems to be pretty brown. Im sure it was high tho! Our dispatchers were saying a bunch of our guys were stuck out that way. Pa said they had parts of I 80 shut down. Same with the turnpike. Heard 86 east in NY was closed but not sure why. Keep it safe! I'm headed to your state. Actually got a load right out too.

Congrats jetzer, welcome aboard.
Well a semi solid day today as I got in a little over 400 miles along with a short run pay so I guess I will take it. T-called the Bloomington load in Romeoville and requested a run west and immediately got a load picking up in Des Plaines (Chicago)Well it wasn't too bad, just a little traffic congestion and I rolled that load back to Romeoville as well. Got a load now that I picked up in Ottawa, IL and rolling south tomorrow to Harrisonville, MO to C&D. Close to 500 miles with an open delivery which is always nice.
The Challenger Thanks this.
