Haha, you are just 6 years past your prime psycho:)

Sitting at the homestead downing a few brews and getting ready to cook up my famous drunk chicken. Got some other new recipes I am trying out for the weekend, Korean style grilled rib eyes, grilled egg plant and one of my favorites for my daughter that will be heading back to the Big Apple on Monday, shrimp and scallop fettucini:) Should be a nice few days off.

I just reviewed my first six months at Crete.

Thanks to numerous breakdowns, I have yet to hit 10000 paid miles in a month. And, for the eighth time in 10 weeks, I'm headed to an Acklie shop, this time because my QualComm screen has taken a big ol' crap.

It took me 4 1/2 years to leave Schneider. It won't take me that long to dump Crete if this keeps up. I'm on my third truck, and the only one that has been issue-free was the old Century I started with.

I had a QC issue with my first truck, it was actually a cord problem which I replaced and it functioned fine.

Got a nice 2200+ run right out of the gate heading to Phoenix. Unfortunately it doesn't unload until Monday and I could have it there Saturday but I am just going to take it easy and enjoy some 450 mile days. Dropping by to see my mom tomorrow afternoon and take her to dinner so that will be nice.

Switching my home time over to Las Vegas instead of Durham so going to see what that will entail as far as days out. Hoping to stay out west again for the majority of the month as I sure didn't miss the east coast a bit last month.

My QC issue resulted in a 10-minute repair, exactly what I was hoping for....a new in-cab unit. Viola'!

Now, no freight. Was offered a 1330-mile repower to deliver in PA on Tuesday. I'm supposed to be home in SC Tuesday, so I had to turn it down. Looks like I'll be here in Lincoln tonight. So I'll do some laundry....

Sitting in Anthony, TX tonight, right on the border of NM. Relatively easy drive tomorrow to Phoenix. Going to see if I will be able to get unloaded early Monday morning but appt. isn't until 1330.

My house got robbed the day after I left home so I have not been sleeping very well thinking about that. Of course the police have been of little help. The thieves stole a cell phone and have been using it and I have the records of who they are calling but police said it takes over 2 weeks for a sapena to get the name and locations associated with the phone calls, crock of ####.

Wow, a nice brisk 113 degrees here in Phoenix:) And of course the drivers facility here at the terminal is not open, luckily got my sun shower with me to freshen up with when it cools down a little tonight.
