######. Was only going to have good things to say about the Lenoir terminal, very clean facility, lots of room, etc. but they have the showers locked up after 1830. That was the only reason I decided to stop here instead of down the road at the TA. For the love of GAWD why not keep those rooms open so we can use them or provide some card that will work to unlock it that identifies the driver in case you are worried one of us knuckle dragging truckers want to tear something up.

Been with Crete 2 months. 1st 5-6 weeks good miles. Last 2 weeks have been terrible. Had a 56 hour 400 mile run earlier this week. Current load not much better. Terminals could use a lot of help (Indy, Ottawa, Marietta). Good luck to you with Crete. If miles don't pick up, will need to make a living doing something else. Also have had 3 detention requests that have not been paid. Plan on contacting terminal Monday and see what is up with those. :biggrin_2552:

Hit the 3K mile week again. Pulled into the Pilot at Murfreesboro with no time left on the clock. Got just enough hours left over the next two days to make the customer early Tuesday. Saw a Mexican restaurant across the street so going to appease the old stomach:)

    Second week
July 25-26 Memphis, TN -- Woodlawn, OH ---- 537 miles
July 26-27 Woodlawn, OH -- Evandale, OH -- Elk Grove Village, IL --- 333
July 27-29 Elk Grove Village, IL -- West Chicago, IL, -- Roanoke, TX --- 948
    July 29-31 Roanoke, TX -- Desoto, TX -- Midway, TN --- 969
    July 31-(Aug 2) Midway, TN -- Chattanooga, TN -- Menasha, WI --- (280/975)
    --------------------------------------------------------------

There are alot of things that effect your mileage for any given week, location, times that you empty out, etc, two bad weeks, are probably just two bad weeks. That happens from time to time and good weeks can happen just as easily. Good luck.

    Majestyk,

I read you already had experience before you signed on with Crete, but do you happen to know if they hire recent truck driving school graduates?

Tracking your doings with Crete-Shaffer, nice thread, will be starting there in a few weeks-keep it going.

I really hope the miles are OK.

Do most of there trucks have apu's, or are they going to opi-idle?

    Thanks

Thanks guys. I certainly do not have many complaints so far. The only communications I have with anyone is clicking on the QC to get my next load which is the way that I like it:)
I don't know what the percentage of trucks are that have Opti, battery APU etc. Mine has a battery APU and thus far is has been ok. If it runs down I just crank the truck up.

Sitting in Hebron, IN until 0100 or so. Still got a ways to go and the only way I will make it on time is to hit Chi Town and Milwaukee in the wee hours. Going to be a couple of slow days as I only have about 13 hours for the two.
