I was with Crete for many years . I recently talked to 2 friends that still work at Crete. They are staying busy and running good miles. At Crete you would get plenty of experience with manual transmissions. A good place to gain experience.

At Maverick you would get experience with a flatbed and give you more opportunities in that segment of the industry.

Either company would probably be better than many other companies out there from what I here.

You are in a very good area to work for Maverick. Blytheville,Ar is a hot bed for inbound and outbound freight. You shouldn't have a problem getting home every weekend either. As for auto or manual transmissions. I have been driving for ten years now and would take an auto over an manual any day of the week. Then again I don't have to be shifting gears to feel like a truck drive:)
