    So I have finished school and have been researching companies to start with. I have been looking at and applied to both of these two. Anyone have a plus or minus to any of these or even suggestions for a company?

    USX has had some troubles here and there and gotten into some legal hot water a couple of times. Seems that is more on the O/O side of things.

    Crete is ok, as far as big carriers go. They have some decent dedicated accounts that one can work their way into over time. Might be the deciding factor for you.

    Thx yea from the view drivers I have talked to US seems to favor their lease/teams over solo's and kinda use them as filler-ins if you will say.

    If those were my two choices, I'd go Crete.

    I had a cup of coffee with USX back in '97 and wasn't too impressed, but it was a long time ago and I was very new to the industry.

    Hey i started with USX one year ago as new driver. It's true, teams are doing much better at USX. After going solo this first year I'm gonna start teaming soon. If YOU wanna go solo I would recommend Crete over USX. I hear some good things about Crete out there, and they seem to getting you home too.
