Just because one recruiter told you that you could use bluetooth doesn't mean she lied or the company lied. I bet she was new and didn't know all the company rules. She would be pretty dumb to think she could really get away with such a lie since Crete would make sure you knew the rule.

Trust me...most recruiters will say anything to get you in the door...most recruiters are company trained liars.

I understand what you're saying and I agree with you about recruiters in general, but Crete really is a notch above the rest in many regards. I have had such abusive driver managers at other companies but never at Crete. I really do not think they play games like most of the bottom-feeder companies. I don't expect you to believe me, but I stand by my opinion.

Are you serious or are you just joking?
Besides what is the difference between
using a hands free device to talk on your cell phone and using your C B Radio when your
driving. I hope you dont mind that camera in
your truck watching everything you do. Dont
forget to shut the sleeper curtain when your
    want some privacy.

I drove for Shaffer right out of school. Hated the 7 months I was there.

Dispatcher didn't know head from a hole in the ground and talked to me like he was my dad.

Ran I70 from KS to East coast and Northeast and TX. Never saw the Southeast, west, or northwest. First dozen or so paychecks were zero. Had to pay for sleep apnea machine, had to use cash advances because unlike other super truckers I was broke when I started driving but never got miles to over ride those.
