Sad to hear that crete is treating you in such a manner ... Seems alot of companies are kicking there drivers to the curb to save a buck...hope your child gets better and will pray for that...maybe you should hang around and procure a solid job before quiting tho ... It may suck...but may be the best thing for your child for now ... Health insurance is a big deal....just sayin
kickin chicken Thanks this. -

Baack and Mastertech Thank this. -
Could you tell usmore about your problems, I work for Crete and have been getting good miles and not too many issues. Just wondering.
-
just burnt out...everything seems to be a fight..happy and getting by or miserable and decent good money..those are my choices...life is short...made ALOT more at last company BUT wasnt happy so i left...not saying ccc is a bad company...just tired of fighting for everything!!
-
I just don't understand, I don't have to fight for anything. My checks are always on time and correct, no major issues with dispatch or anything. Just what are you having to fight for?
You should talk with your fleet manager to see if you could get some resolution to your issues. Good luck. -
well how long have you been here?? ive been here awhile...its not about the check...its getting home...disrespect...etc...i actually dont fight for anything anymore because i dont ask for anything anymore..i dont remember the last time i was on the qualcomm...not hearing to many complaints from new drivers but hearing alot of complaints from old drivers. we have something to compare it to..it is what it is...i wouldnt just quit with out a secure job waiting. like most i have a house payment in PA and a family and so on..the industry as a hole has taken a dump so hopefully i can get a local job soon...they keep taking away things. most recently the passenger policy..i got rid of my pet only for them to change there mind..im just waiting for the next blow but not much more they can take away..i think they've taken it all away..drive..shut up be greatful
or we will replace you with a student and profit more
losttrucker Thanks this. -
One thing to always consider- if a truck driver isn't b!tching constantly you may want to go check their pulse- they may be DEAD. I never had a problem getting home with Crete as good communication goes a long way.
I drove for Crete for 3 1/2 years until I tried a sales job that wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Then I went to work for Marten Transport- BIG mistake- I'm surprised that I lasted over 6 months there before I left. I'm returning to Crete next week and actually looking forward to it.RizenPhoenix Thanks this. -

you would "HOPE" communcations goes along way.....i dont #####..as i said i dont even talk on the qc anymore...waiting and going back and forth is EXHAUSTING...and im aware of the industry as a hole..been out here a very long time..but alot of the BS isnt necessary...common curtosy...mutual rspect etc...i'll just finish my sentence and find me something local..somebody said they had a fanpage on myspace or facebook or something but it was really a recruiting page..from what im told there not listening to there driver on there ..and thaks for the headsup on the cobra whoever said that..ill definatley check it out and free up the truck for the the new hires
