Schneider's offer was .38 cpm, 41 after 6 months. 2k sign on bonus. It was regional with 2 days off a week. Sounded pretty good to me.

Schneider has a morale turpatude ( spelling? ) clause in it's mission statement.

They aren't gonna hire you, move on.

After an expungement you don't have to answer that question at all. Some states won't let you expunge an actual conviction though so it may just me a moot point in the end. Hate to break it you but there's a growing list of things that will pretty much make you unemployable in the interstate world. You'd have much better luck looking for a Carrier that only has an intrastate authority. It leaves the Feds out of it and things become much more bearable.

Also, as far as criminal background checks are concerned many states now offer public databases where anyone can enter a person's name and see all of their court records. What they went to court and the disposition. In the digital age one must be extremely diligent if they care in the slightest about their privacy. If you applied to work for me, I could get nearly anything I want to know about you legally without even having you sign a consent form in Maryland.

I don't really think of marijuana possession as an "act of baseness, vileness, or depravity." (Moral turpitude - Wikipedia) It's OK if they do though. I'm not really hung up on Schneider, I just thought it'd be nice to drive van for a bit and then switch to tanker without switching companies too.

I hate to pop your bubble. But you're not even a trainee, and you're trying to break into trucking with billion dollar trucking companies.

It doesn't matter what you think.

Everyone is starving for drivers. Don't get hung up on a tree when there's a whole forest out there.
