Just get a copy of your driver's record. You can usually get it from your state's website then save it as a PDF. If it's not on there it didn't happen. Only convictions are allowed to be held against you. If you weren't convicted it won't be there.

The only exception to this would be if the conviction took place in a state that you don't reside in AND they didn't share with your state of residence but this is rare in 2023 since most states share traffic offenses now.

Wait 30 to 45 days after the close of the case, pull your MVR. If not listed, the end.
If something is listed, what is it listed as?

When you have a CDL-A, going with the flow of traffic don't apply to you. Truckers follow signs. You're skirting the line in which a company can fire you, and no companies will hire you. You gotta tighten up

You don't need to report anything. You don't tell your company that you were out there being unsafe. If their insurance alerts them, face the music then.

here's the thing..the posted speed limit was 65...right..??

everyone else was doing more than 65 right..??

so then, if everyone drove off a cliff, you would too...right..??

the trooper, highway patrol officer, sheriff, whatever that pulled you over, had time to "pick and choose his victim", since everyone was speeding.

    he chose you.

just because "everyone else was doing it"...does not dismiss YOU of doing it as well.

as that so-called professional driver that you are "supposed to be", you need to respect your CDL.

in some states, that could have been a reckless driving charges, or driving to endanger charge.......then explain THAT to your company, while you stand in the unemployment line.
