Planning to drive from Greenville SC to Santa Ana Ca to see friends. No hurry. I want to play poker as much as possible along the way. 40, or 20 to 10, or drop down to 10 in Ala? Thanks for any help guys

Probably 40 because that way you'll go through Oklahoma, and that state is swamped with casinos. Once you get into West Memphis, AR there is the Southland Casino. It seems like there is another one in North Carolina, somewhere in the mountains but either I'm not for sure or I'm drawing a blank lol.

If you take the 40, from Kingman, AZ you can detour over to Bullhead City and there's truck parking right near Don Laughlin's casino. They have a small poker room that's fun. Cash games and tournaments.

If you end up on the 10 in CA, look up Morongo Casino near Palm Spings, they have truck parking and a poker room too.

Finally when you're unloaded in Santa Ana you could try the Bicycle and the Commerce casinos both are near there and are both world class famous LA poker rooms with a lot of action. Parking your big rig and taking Uber is how I did that.

I did a similar journey a couple years back, mostly sticking to I-40 because Oklahoma really does have casinos all along the way, plus you hit a couple good ones in Arkansas and New Mexico. Whenever I reached new states, it was kinda exciting to see all the small commercial casinos pop up on roadside signs, so it’s definitely possible to fill your trip with a lot of poker. The casinos in NC and LA are both great places to add to your poker list, especially if you want something more than just slot machines. If you ever get tired of the regular casino check-ins or just want to play without hassles, you can check out options that let you play online at a no kyc casino. Super convenient if you’re on the move or prefer doing things more privately.
