No kidding Canuck, I was to Canada many years ago, Vinegar was on the tables. That was odd.
I like Jiff PB. It's what every choosy mother chooses? BAH HAAA.
    What's Peameal bacon??

I think it's pork tenderloin, cured, then rolled in peameal, sliced thin like regular bacon. You eat it like just like the bacon you get in the U.S. Do you remember the "Great White North" thing on SNL, and the resulting 12 Days of Christmas? The back bacon they refer to is peameal bacon, IIRC.

Has anyone noticed you can't find "Canadian Bacon" in Ca.?:biggrin_2559:

There ya go!! You remembered before I got the chance to post!

Yes, vinegar on your fries!! The only place, other than the border, in the U.S. that I've found, that knows about that, is Olga's kitchen. I've gotten some very funny looks, in the South especially, when I asked for vinegar for my fries!!:biggrin_2559:

Wow, I must be having flashbacks. I just had a thought of a smoked meat platter at the J in Dorion!!:biggrin_25525:

You can't find Kraft peanut butter? I'd almost swear I've seen it in the little supermarket I go to. I know for sure I've seen it at a Kroger downstate around Detroit. I used to buy it.:biggrin_25525:
