    Some people are forced too work on a 1099 due to things like garnishments so they take whatever they can get I guess.

    Several other things can cause garnishments as well. Don't be so quick to judge.

    Oh I Know, but around here it's either tax evasion or child support are the two big ones. I've had a garnishment for an over payment of gi bill funds. Got a judgement and took $50 A week for over a year to pay it back. They couldn't just take my taxes

    "Garbage pay and you get to drive a calf-scours brown truck with steel rims!". I'd rather wake up every morning, lift the toilet seat up and slam it down on my manhood, then go to my burger flipper job because I'll get further in life than having fleecers pick pocket me with their scam.

    Absolutely. They both carry a bad stigma but many times there are legitimate reasons that explain them. Don't get me started on "mommy support".

    That figure of $706.57 under net income/solo driver. You still have to deduct your own payroll taxes from that, right?
