CRST Contract

Yup, but that's a whole different subject. I was only responding to the question asked.

 

Can she get out NOW on the 3'day LEMON LAW?!?!?!? Heck .. I know a company (little known, btw but for China and me and those we've shared with) here in Ohio that absolutely WOULD take her with a permit... like NOW. Put her out to train, at 600 /week income, and voila~!!!! On your OWN.

 

If you could work magic quick whilst they still may discharge her if its early enough, pm me for details.

Yep, her joining WOULD be the best IMHO....as well. Carry on, you tried. All we can do w/these young'n's anymore...ya know?!?!?

 

Tell her to just pay attn, get thru school, get her cdl. Then make the best of it, you only hear of the sad, bad stories. But as big as Crst is, there are probably as many or more. Drivers there who are happy and making enough money to keep them there.

No it's not the place I would have recommended.
But as most women can tell ya. Sometimes you have to buckle up buttercup, make the best of a bad situation. Till you can walk out loud proud with your head up high.

 

^^^ They DO HAVE the Gardner (solo/regional/local) division in or around Cali. Something to 'look into/forward to' I guess.

 

I used to drive/train for CRST and I’m still trying to figure out the extent of their power. Why do they know your next move? They shouldn’t know who your next potential employer is. I noticed that CRST is full of naive young individuals who mostly come from Detroit and Chicago. CRST is taken full advantage of some desperate situations mainly because they know that ghetto people 1)don’t read.... they just sign 2)...situation back home is nothing you look forward to going back to 3) they scare you with debt. Reread these contracts. I told my favorite student 6 years ago,”If you don’t want to stay.... just leave.” 2 days ago, he told me that was the best thing he ever did. I told him to leave because I read a copy of one of the contracts he signed. CRST had already violated the contract about 10 times by the time he an I met. CRST is not a trucking company. They are a criminal organization that uses the trucking industry to profit by taking advantage of people. DON’T EVER FORGET THAT. They are not your friend. Never was.... will never be. There are many opportunities to turn the table on them by taking advantage of their low expectations of YOU. They are not smart... the average CRST recruit is just THAT naive.

 

Please define "ghetto people" because when I pass a crst truck and look inside. The drivers appear to represent a pretty large cross section of america. 1 truck had a white guy in flannel wearing a cowboy hat, the next was a young Asian looking female.
Also if you ask around you will find a high 90% of drivers, owner ops, lease purchase, company, and trainers, have never read thier contract.


If you have been out here long enough to be a trainer. Then you should no why they absolutely should and will no who your next employer is. If it's another driving job.
